Slashdot Article for my Journalism Class

Here's the next assignment for the undergrad Journalism class I'm taking this semester. We were given our choice of about 20 web sites to write 2-3 pages on and do a 5 minute presentation (no Powerpoint yet...) in class (which happens in about 2 hours.) I chose Slashdot. Continuing in the "My Class Work" section - the previously posted paper on Robert Scoble's visit earned a B. Not bad considering it was the first graded writing I had done in 7 years. It needed more journalism and less essay-writing, which is, of course, the trick. So today's Slashdot article is a little lighter, less bombastic about the wonders of communication, and contains absolutely zero references to blogging.
